The reason the deal is because Trump removed upfront sanctions relief from the offer after it had been dangled. Iran can't sign without it. Nothing changed strategically in the past 24 hours to justify the hardening. The collapse is due to pressure from Israel and its supporters.

Iran is not issuing idle threats. When the U.S. restarts the war, Iran is going to wipe out the Gulf States ability to provide drinkable water to their people, rendering those countries uninhabitable & causing yet another mass migration crisis. Nobody seems to be able or willing to stop this war of choice & aggression by the world’s biggest terrorists, the U.S. & Israel. Global economic depression? Famine? Major migration crisis? These are all possible & probable. The only answer seems to be the American people, labor unions, coming together to shut down the U.S. economy and take control of the country.
