Today is the day the Satoshis begin their journey. They’re about to board a flight to Korea and head to the Promenade café. Have a great trip, Satoshis! 🌎✈️

Today I made another Satoshi plushie. Now that there are five of them, I’ll ship them to Promenade tomorrow! 🌎🇰🇷

Today I made one Satoshi plushie. At this pace, I’ll make another one tomorrow! 🎭

Satoshi at Promenade has sold out, so I’m preparing new Satoshis. In addition to the three Satoshis I made in February, I’ll be making two more. They seem excited about going to Korea!

Today I made oyakodon. Oyakodon is a Japanese chicken and egg rice bowl. The chicken is simmered in soy sauce, sake, dashi, and other seasonings, then cooked with eggs and served over rice. By the way, “oyako” means “parent and child” 🐔🥚

Today I made a tuna and bonito zuke-don (marinated fish rice bowl). It’s simple to make and very delicious 🐟

I’ve finished making two plushies that aren’t Satoshi! For now, I’ll keep their faces hidden 😊 Next week, I’m planning to go back to making Satoshi again! 🎭

I’m currently making a plushie that isn’t Satoshi for a certain purpose. I really enjoy this process of watching it slowly come together 🧵 I’m excited and can’t wait to finish it, but I’ll continue tomorrow.

This week, I’m making a plushie based on a certain person, not Satoshi. As a hobby, I also make plushies with facial expressions and hair, so I’m doing my best to make use of that experience🧵

Today I made a drawstring bag for a certain purpose. I really like The Great Wave by Katsushika Hokusai🌊 By the way, there are several reasons why I named my goods brand “Making Waves,” and one of them was inspired by this very Japanese artwork.

I made some drawstring bags today for a certain purpose and worked on designing some fabric. I have a lot of things planned to make this month, so I’m excited😊

Today I made chicken mizore-ni. Mizore-ni is a dish where grated daikon radish is added and simmered; it’s seasoned with dashi and soy sauce, and it’s really delicious 🍲

I made Napolitan pasta today. It’s a Japanese pasta dish with lots of ketchup, giving it a slightly sweet taste. It’s a classic café menu in Japan, so I was surprised it’s not common overseas. 🍝

I also considered pricing my Satoshi plushies in Korean won. But then in Vietnam I’d need Vietnamese dong, and in South Africa rand… which would make management complicated. That’s one reason I price many of my goods at 21,000 sats, and so far this method has worked well.

I sometimes see people say, “For payments, wouldn’t dollar stablecoins be better than Bitcoin?” But I don’t think so. People from Korea sometimes buy my goods, but in both Japan and Korea the dollar isn’t a familiar everyday currency, so I don’t feel much need to use it.
