it also helped that not a lot people were actually good at orisa, including pro players, it was barely a meta relevant tank ever besides like junkertown for some teams so most people had bad pulls/shields.

there is a secret truth behind this. i was a high ladder orisa otp near end of GOATs. a lot of heroes were just overtuned numbers wise but they werent good in the GOATs core so they just kept getting buffed every patch. orisa was probably the biggest culprit of this.
