Here comes the Anfield Wrap and Redmen TV crew out in full support for their leader Carragher! Buckle up people. It’s going to be a relentless campaign from them to defend his actions against Salah.
Abigail Rudkin@rudkin_abigail

We all love Salah. But this relentless attack on Carragher for having his own opinion on top 10 is ridiculous. Everyone has the right to their opinion and opinions change. It’s very very odd the way people are behaving about the whole thing.

🚨💣😳 Wesley Sneijder has opened up about the worst moment of his career — and how it turned into the ultimate revenge. “The worst moment of my career was leaving Real Madrid. I felt insulted when I went to the stadium and found my locker empty and all my belongings set aside. I went to talk to the president, but he didn’t give me enough time and simply told me that I was no longer part of his plans and that they wanted to win the Champions League. Before leaving, I told him: ‘Wherever I go, I’ll play to win.’ Two days later, Mourinho called me. He said: ‘Wesley, I know your situation is tough. Come to Inter and we’ll win it all together.’ With Mourinho, it was love at first sight. One year with him feels like ten years with any other coach. How did it end? I won the Champions League at the Bernabéu, placed the trophy right in front of my old locker and said: ‘I always keep my promises.’ It was the best moment of my career.”

Thank you @KafuiDey for creating a space where I felt safe enough to speak about parts of my life I have not always been comfortable sharing. If you’ve followed me for years, you know I rarely do interviews. My relationship with the media has been a difficult one, shaped by many of the experiences I had at the start of my career as a young girl. For nearly 20 years, I have wrestled with these spaces. At times, I became combative, and when I grew tired, I retreated into silence. But Kafui has a rare gift. He creates a space that feels so safe, so human, and so disarming that you find yourself opening up in ways you did not expect, sometimes even forgetting that you are in an interview at all. Thank you, Kafui, for handling my story with so much dignity and grace. I hope those who watch leave with a deeper glimpse into my life, my journey, and the many layers of who I am. Only one player here isn’t a striker, one day we will talk about Mohamed Salah’s movement and positioning. Because that’s what really separates him, he doesn’t just play as a winger, he thinks like a striker. The way he times his runs in behind, drifts into central areas, and constantly occupies the blind side of defenders… it’s elite. He’s not waiting for the ball, he’s manipulating defensive lines before the pass even comes. Watch how he starts wide, pins the full-back, then suddenly darts inside between centre-back and full-back that split-second movement is what creates those high-quality chances. It’s not luck, it’s movement and positioning intelligence. That’s why his numbers stay so consistent. He’s basically a forward operating from wide spaces, combining winger traits with striker instincts. You can’t get so much players like that anymore One day people will stop reducing it to “he scores a lot” and actually appreciate how he gets those goals because his off-ball movement is genuinely one of the best in modern football.

Kurt Okraku is the only constant in the repeated failures of the Black Stars and Ghana football. He also needs to go, and a more competent person should be appointed.

@SajadIqbalLFC I changed my mind 12 months later as I think MO this season didn’t show enough off the pitch, I don’t really care about on the pitch as it’s his first average season. I’d like him to have spoken more for the club after defeats & not kill the manager publicly.

The obsession with power and titles is so dangerous .. cause what compels you to want to be king in a country you’re not from ? What was the thought process?

They were SO comfortable... they just waltzed into a FOREIGN LAND and installed their own IGWEEEEE like it was their backyard barbecue! NOT ON OUR WATCH, NIGERIANS!!! From now on… comfort will be luxury in our country.

England’s World Cup opponents Ghana have sacked head coach Otto Addo 78 days before their opening match of the tournament against Panama in Toronto on June 17. The decision followed five straight losses, including friendly defeats to Austria (5-1) on Friday and Germany (2-1) on Monday during this month’s international break.
