@KateEMcCann I saw it, and was very concerned. We need to be careful what we broadcast. This may appeal to some, but it’s voyeuristic. Behind every person, whoever they are, is a person whose own story and mental well-being matters too. The House needs shepherded.

Rachel Reeves is in tears on the front bench. Having looked very close to tears throughout this session her upset became obvious after Kemi Badenoch asked whether she would keep her job. She looks devastated. Really hard to watch.

Whatever is going on in government today, it is vital to recognise when someone needs protected from cameras and public exposure. I have watched PMQ’s today and am very concerned about the Chancellor and her well-being. Praying for our leaders, whatever my perspective may be.

@Robinson_Linds I am angry this is what happens in our public discourse. Your family deserves privacy and respect. You are neither targets, objects nor ‘the enemy’ to anyone. You are human beings. Gavin is a fair, gracious and scrupulous public figure. I utterly reject hate toward and of you.

Last night I shared a photo of my husband with our son (10 yrs old) who was excited to watch football. I'm not a big fan of the sport but his love of it seems pretty normal to me. Some of the nasty, hate-filled responses to it are anything but normal. Sort yourselves out.

Few theologians have had as much impact on me as Jurgen Moltmann has. Didn’t always agree with him but did always appreciate the new horizons he made it possible to contemplate. 1926-2024 May he rest in peace.

'God weeps with us so that we may one day laugh with Him'. Jurgen Moltmann, 8th April 1926 - 3rd June 2024. May he rest in peace and rise in Glory. I was privileged to know you, and thank God for your ministry. He will be missed, but never forgotten.

'When God becomes man in Jesus of Nazareth, he not only enters into the finitude of man, but in his death on the cross also enters into the situation of man's [sic] godforsakenness... He humbles himself and takes upon himself the eternal deat of the godless and the godforsaken'.

Thanking God today for the life, witness and ministry of Jürgen Moltmann, who was promoted to glory on 3rd June. His theology, particularly his trilogy, A Theology of Hope, The Crucified God, and The Church in the Power of the Spirit, had a profound impact on my thinking.
