This doesn't seem like a futuristic, practical piece, but to look cool at the cost of function. Also, lmao, paddle release.

HP45a1 created for @Malcontent1692. The inspiration was a futurized XM8/G36. This rifle served as a bigger brother to the handgun I posted before.

@art_rube It's a great looking set but yeah the dreams of getting a 1-1 SPI still escapes us. I hope they add attachments to make it look more like the OG-wrist armor and maybe give us the MCC helm since it was pretty spot on. That said I'm looking forward to using it when I try out S3

Infinite SPI looks neat but it doesnt look like SPI im sorry Its too angular, especially the visor shape and the wrists and shins

Been recently thinking about jumping into the commission space for 3D work on stuff like props and weapons (Halo related and otherwise), always fun to work on a variety of things and I'm feeling very inspired to just do more art nowadays. 🤔

@Novautic I 100% Agree, which Halo 4 had plenty of, I'd be just fine going back to that.

Reminiscing about Halo 4 lately and was reminded of this shot, easily one of my favorite single shots in the entire series. Requiem and the Infinity itself were such amazing locations/setpieces and I wish we got more time with them.

@silverstan24 I feel the same way, honestly was a huge letdown to see it removed from the story like that. It deserved so much better for how many good stories they could've still told with it.

@Reclaimara I've always really liked the Infinity and it's a shame we didn't actually get a lot of time to explore it and see it's full potential. Holding out hope that someday they'll give us more stories about the entire Requiem campaign, so much opportunity there!

@Malcontent1692 I agree. This particular shot is one of my most favorite in entire series too. Always magnificent. Similar to Infinity herself and Requiem. Can never get enough of them. And I too wish we got more...

@haruspis I honestly can't love that background enough, it's so fitting for Halo and the grandeur of Forerunner architecture in general. Just good Halo vibes all around

@Malcontent1692 Detached the camera to get some shots of this particular view behind the Infinity (it's actually just a matte painting spawned into the end of the level at two different sizes). Would love to get us back to Requiem someday.

@NobbieSlicks Hard to choose! I think my current favorite might have to be Silent Storm, it's depiction of the Spartan IIs, Johnson, Covenant spec ops and all the fantastic prowler action was such a breath of fresh air for the Halo novels. Troy Denning is easily my favorite halo novel author.
