How do we feel? Well let me put it this way, my timeline is filled with anger, hurt and disappointment this morning. From Christians of every background, denomination and country….lots of people saying you’d never mock Islam in this way. So why us?

The thing is, this doesn't actually suprise me. I've been to Israel and the Palestinian terrotories more times than I can count. I've met people on both sides of the wall. Not an 'expert', but I know SOMETHING. Yet so many pontificating on this subject do not.

But I don’t know what might be motivating the people that Sam mentioned initially.

@MalkyCurrie @samhailes @Jairus_Girl I think that going from narratives not adding up, to Israel being responsible, is an enormous leap - that would be jumping to a conclusion. It's not easy to investigate explosions or draw conclusions in war. So what might lead you to make such leaps, do you think?

This has shocked me. I saw prominent church leaders RUSHING to accuse Israel of war crimes. Almost gleeful. Now the truth has come out and there’s silence.

We have never seen a more graphic example of the double standards applied to Israel than the wave of condemnation that erupted when people thought the IDF were responsible for the hospital attack, followed by the silence accompanying the realisation it was Hamas or their proxies.
