Just your friendly ER doc here, learning the ukulele during #SocialDistancing. Here’s a little parody reminding you to #StayHome if you’re not sick. Note: I’ve been playing the uke for 2 weeks - don’t judge :)@NEEDTOBREATHE

Thank you to all that are saving lives by binge watching Netflix! If you aren't already socially distancing, please please please stay home! Help us flatten the curve to give our healthcare system a fighting chance!

Dr. Emily Landon with University of Chicago-Medicine speaking on Illinois residents sheltering-in-place: “It’s really hard to feel like you’re saving the world when you’re watching Netflix from your couch… if we do this right, nothing happens.”

Avoid over-transfusing. It’s better for patients and preserves the blood supply when donations are low #transfusion #COVID19 #coronavirus

This flu season - expected to drag on longer than most - has been especially brutal & has killed 105 children to date, @CNN reports. It's not too late to have children vaccinated to prevent flu and lessen the symptoms if they do become sick. #VaccinesWork cnn.com/2020/02/21/hea…

It is not too late to get the flu vaccine! Around 80% of all flu cases occur in January, February, and March. Children 6 months of age and up should get the flu vaccine to reduce their risk. #FightFlu
