i learnt something weird today, in cod4 they load literally every viewmodel possible (with weapon) and hand you that dobj depending on which gun you pick (usually the view dobj is a fixed value):
i havent finished coding for waw yet but this is literally the only game to do this

why do people post this making it look like its about gender, its not. its about demagraphic. if the people who make the game arent interested in it, it results in a game that they consumers wont care about either.
you cant make good a game you yourself dont enjoy

@cmrnfx i agree with the micro transactions but pretty much every cod since back in the day has been rushed. treyarch is literally known interally as the studio that gets projects across the finish line so i dont understand where the hate is coming from with the original post

@luslex most are flipbooks but there are most likely some that are particles. i already have bullet tracers so u can actually showcase where bullets go so u can just manually add muzzle flashes using the timing of those. not only that u get all players not just the viewmodel bullets

@luslex i mean unless someone pays me specifically to add it im not going out of my way to do it. because i will have to not only reverse how to export it but have it write import logic for all programs for it. not only that if i do it for 1 game im going to be doing it for most

@Klext the only reason im slightly sure is i use the exact function that casts bullet tracers to hook to for 3d recording in order to store them x.com/Mallowed/statu…
again i could be wrong though there could be a condition branch i didnt see or high fps on pc affects it

@Klext my original tweet? im pretty sure u cant wallbang explosives in normal conditions as the raycast for the bullet stops at trigger event but it doesnt always seem true and i simply dont have the time to sit there and test on a console. but i can see the function disasembly

@BrainsmashNick could be interesting but if u do please dont try to stream in the generic streamer format. i cant speak for others but im sick of people who try to start streaming and try to do the kai cenat format streaming instead of doing their own thing
