@TheKevinDalton @RealDeanCain Thank you ICE agents, for defending our borders, keeping our country safe from dangerous criminals, helping the TSA at airports, & much more. The problem is, what good is locking an arsonist up if they’re just going to be released? Our justice system is broken.

Days after last year’s Palisades and Eaton wildfires, several heroic Los Angeles residents tackled and zip-tied a man starting fires with a blowtorch in their neighborhood. Los Angeles Police Department arrested 34-year-old Sierra-Leyva for a felony probation violation, but somehow determined that even though he was starting fires with a blowtorch, it wasn’t quite enough for an arson charge. I hope you’re sitting down because it turns out Sierra-Leyva is an illegal immigrant with a lengthy criminal history and is suspected of starting other fires. I hope you are still sitting down, because a Van Nuys jail ignored an ICE detainer and released him. Fortunately, ICE was there and immediately re-arrested the arsonist.

@GavinNewsom has no one to blame but himself, because it’s his terrible leadership that turned it into a battleground state. People are tired of high taxes, high crime, too many business regulations, environmental regulations, no water in the fire hydrants, etc.

.@howardlutnick: The states run these elections. If they want to use the U.S. Postal Service, they're going to get a barcode from the USPS, and they're going to put that on the envelope, and we will have one envelope per vote — none of this stuff where there's no certainty.

As a mom of three boys, I know firsthand that one size doesn’t fit all in education. Years as a parent, school board member, charter school founder, and advocate have shown me that federal control fails families and students. Every parent deserves REAL education freedom and the ability to choose what helps their children thrive!
