Today is First Contact Day, and there are four astronauts on the way to the moon. NASA has a real Star Trek connection. The first test shuttle was originally going to be named Constitution, but Star Trek fans flooded President Ford with a letter-writing campaign to name the first shuttle Enterprise. NASA named it Enterprise instead of Constitution, and Gene Roddenberry and the Star Trek cast were there for the dedication.

My water heater went out today, ugh! And of course someone before we bought the house decided it would be really intelligent to put a gas line right in front of the water heater (like halfway up!!!) so that we have to call in someone to replace it. >.<
