Gonna comment on this once and go watch some baseball. TL:DR; "AHSAA Transfer Portal" The blind eye that has been turned to the issue of transferring and player movement has allowed for teams and coaches to operate "in the grey" with how the rules are written; Apartments, Jobs etc., the old and new mixing together to what used to be a risk into a well oiled machine. I have nothing but respect for Coach Ganus and Co. That being said, if there was foul play? This was the proper response. If there wasn't? "Former Oxford principal targets Pell City head coach" is going to be one hell of an angle in the appeal process. And, obviously, PC won't be the only school sniffed into. Strap in for a long summer.

@BobbbbyLight First saying you can’t play where you transferred to , but you can go back to where you came from and play ! In their rules it states that if you zone back to your homeschool more than once,you are ineligible to play varsity! So basically contradicts their rule! Complete disaste

The AHSAA announced today that Pell City will receive a fine and HC Jake Ganus will serve a one year suspension regarding "recruiting violations" As a result of these violations, any students deemed ineligible to participate in PC athletics will have to move back to the school district where their family resides to regain eligibility. - AHSAA Per the AHSAA, Ganus will serve a one year suspension and Pell City football will be fined and placed on a one year "restrictive probation" The Panthers will also receive a one year post-season ban. Ganus joined Pell City this off-season after winning a 5A State Title with the Moody Blue Devils.
