Visual novel fans really want me to spend almost 90 hours reading fate. When the anime gets the same information across in a way more concise format. And it has incredible Ufotable animation instead of just boring 2d stills on a screen

Most companies would be proud of their fanbases for celebrating the company's roots but I really do wonder how TM would feel seeing how beloved the original game still is bc I just get the vibes that they're embarrassed/ashamed of the game which is why they avoid acknowledging it
