@WolfgangRichtEU He does not want to move electricity to earth, he wants to move data. If his companies convince millions of people to buy into his visions, working for them and support their families by doing so, what do you have or created to replace them instead of exploiting his success?

Elon Musk has become a trillionaire. If we confiscated just 15% of his wealth we could: clean up all the oceans, eliminate poverty, and literally make the world into a utopia. Instead he chooses to indulge in his phallic obsession with rockets and wants to build data centers in space. You cant even move electricity from space to earth. Dumbest idea ever. All the best, Wolfgang

@altcap @elonmusk @Tesla @SpaceX They are the exploiter not the creator of the wealth, they don't need to understand the difference between net worth and income, they only care about their personal political gains, the US gets into this situation because we have too many exploiters, no wealth builders.

You are smarter than this Ro. Imagine if Bernie had taxed @elonmusk 100% on his PayPal capital gains. We would have no @Tesla or @SpaceX - none of those jobs or GDP. Who do you think allocated the capital better for society? He will already pay $100 B + in taxes - more than any human ever. I hope he donates some to kids via @TrumpAccounts to make every kid a shareholder in 🇺🇸 & continues investing all his heart, soul & money for the benefit of America & all humanity! 🇺🇸🚀🤍
Ro Khanna@RoKhanna

Musk is worth more than South Africa’s GDP. @BernieSanders and I proposed a 5% tax on people like him. In one year, it could fund: - free public college & trade school -$10/day childcare - Special-needs education nationwide Wealth inequality is the moral failure of our time.

The reason anyone gets insanely rich is almost always because of the stock market. It certainly how @elonmusk did. And the reason they get rich from the stock market, is because 150m Americans decided they wanted to own shares of stocks directly, or through their retirement plans, or through other approaches as a way of building their net worth and trying to create a better life for themselves. One Hundred Fifty Million Americans. About 60% of adults. Effectively believing that @elonmusk and many billionaires could make them wealthier and help them achieve a better life. If you want @elonmusk , and most billionaires to no longer be that rich, convince those 150m to sell their stocks, funds, ETFs whatever. Of course you would wipe out the net-worth of most of those people, and everyone else’s savings, as the markets crashed and brought down the economy and created the worst depression we have ever seen. Alternatively There are ways to improve healthcare access and eventually make it available to all. To start - If you want @elonmusk and all billionaires to improve healthcare for everyone , ask them to stop doing business with the enormous healthcare conglomerates and to work directly with transparently priced care providers. It’s the behemoth HC conglomerates that make HC so bad for so many. (Check my timeline for more detail) Removing them would push the cost of healthcare down for everyone. Their corporate decisions impact our healthcare cost and availability. Of course if they do that, not only would our HC costs go down , and the quality of care for their employees and the entire country go up But They would see their corporate cash flow increase dramatically and we would have more millionaires, billionaires and maybe even another trillionaire when that cash flow moved from the big health care conglomerates to their bottom line, so would the net worth of the 150 million American adults that own public stocks Capitalism is better than socialism because 150m Americans can influence exactly what happens in this country.
Jenni@hashjenni

Capitalism is better than socialism because one man gets to be a trillionaire instead of everyone having healthcare

Dear Karen Bass, When you are finally removed from office you will be remembered as the woman who spent billions while achieving approximately the square root of abso-f'n-lutely nothing. You declared a homelessness emergency on day one, promising to sweep those tent cities off the streets. Billions later...yes, billions...and people are still dying on sidewalks. Then came the wildfires. You pulled off a fck-up so spectacular it deserves its own wing in the Museum of Epic Incompetence. Seven months before the Palisades Fire, you signed off on slashing the LAFD budget by $17.5 million. Not a typo. You cut firefighters, equipment, and readiness right before Santa Ana winds turned the city into a bonfire. Hydrants ran dry. Engines sat idle. The chief warned you about core operations suffering. You did it anyway. Then January 7, 2025 happened. While Pacific Palisades burned, you were in Ghana at an inauguration. 12 people dead. 6,837 structures destroyed. $25 billion in damage...the most destructive fire in LA history. Families watched lifetimes go up in smoke. Kids lost homes, heirlooms, schools, everything. Normal people can’t screw up like this and keep their jobs. If a warehouse manager cut safety funding then watched the place burn down on his vacation? He would be fired on the spot, sued into oblivion, maybe even charged. If a restaurant manager skimped on fire extinguishers, left for a trip, and the kitchen torched the neighborhood? Career over, reputation radioactive. Jailed. You? You called it a “mistake,” rushed back, spun the reports, and kept your title. I'll bet you and Newsom tried blaming Trump too. And here’s the part that leaves me speechless with rage-laughter. Morons still voted for you anyway. They saw the ashes, the body count, the empty hydrants, the Ghana getaway...and said “four more years of this genius, please!” Unbelievable. Lives ruined, city scarred, billions torched...and you’re still Mayor McFailure. That's because you're a Democrat in a city bluer than a Smurf's colonoscopy. Voters would re-elect a corpse if it had a D next to its name, because the alternative might be...gasp...a reality TV guy or someone who says mean things about unions. You check all the boxes: first woman mayor, second Black mayor, seasoned insider. Low-information voters see your name on signs and think, "Eh, I've heard of her. Better than the young white guy." It's the political version of sticking with a terrible boyfriend because at least you know his disappointing habits. Cognitive dissonance is strong: "Sure, the city looks like post-apocalyptic Portland, but who TF cares? We vote blue no matter who." And that's exactly why LA and California will continue to be a third world shithole. In freedom, Mr. Star-Spangled MAGA

Every election cycle it’s the same story: someone from out of state discovers California counts mail ballots and immediately concludes fraud. A candidate conceding doesn’t invalidate legally cast votes. Ballots counted after Election Day aren’t “new votes.” And “I don’t like the result” isn’t evidence. Since you’re accusing the state of election fraud, please provide actual proof instead of vibes. We’re all waiting, but like actual proof, like dead to rights proof. 🤡🤡

So… we’re expected to believe that in California, out of three candidates, the third place candidate, who conceded her campaign because she was mathematically eliminated from the run-off, suddenly received tens of thousands of votes from mail-in votes which all came in *after* Election Day, while the other two candidates received no late mail-in votes, and the second place candidate (who was surging as a Republican candidate in the bluest state in the country) is now in third place and mathematically eliminated from the run-off. … and we’re supposed to trust that this is an honest and true election. If you’re not angry about this, you need to be.

@jacobsoboroff I was wondering what this huge facility is for. I saw empty space and a few people pushing carts. Why can "third-world" countries count votes faster than California, despite having a fraction of the funding? They do a better job. Why put out this piece of propaganda to cover up?

@KarenBassLA No. We’ve been overwhelmed by wildfires, homelessness, illegal immigration, and NGO corruption. The federal government is the only one addressing it. Don’t credit others for lower crime rates—the federal government is driving that.

One year ago, this city was shaken. None of us could have imagined being invaded by our own federal government. When troops descended on Los Angeles, I showed up and said what needed to be said: this will not happen in the nation's second largest city. We are still reeling, and it is so important that people be reminded - this has not ended. No matter when you arrived, why you came, or where you came from, I will always fight to protect every Angeleno.

Sore loser doing sore loser things. CA allows up to a week after election day for mail-in ballots arrive—and every voter receives a mail-in ballot so they can vote by mail like Donald Trump. There's no conspiracy. Stop complaining about things you're too dumb to understand.

As long as they’re counting ballots after Election Day in California, it only means one thing: Spencer Pratt and Steve Hilton are out of the runoffs for LA Mayor and Governor. In fact, Gavin Newsom confirmed it just two weeks ago. When asked about the possibility of ending up with two Republican candidates for governor and no Democrats, he said: We will have to topple the state government of California, and that is exactly what the Democrats are going to do. “We all have agencies. We can shape the future. I don’t anticipate this being the case, but there is a ‘break the glass scenario.’ There are many people who have a deep understanding of what it would look like if Democrats were locked out, and we’re going to do everything to make sure that doesn’t happen. I’ll leave it there.”

People ask why the CA vote-counting process takes so long. @Elex_Michaelson of @CNN explains it clearly here. But the short answer is the state values participation plus thorough scrutiny of ballots over speed.

Imagine the worst thing you can say about Joe Biden is that he got old while carrying the weight of the country on his shoulders. He beat Trump when no one else could. He gave America and the world a fighting chance. He rebuilt the economy, passed historic legislation, stood with our allies, and restored dignity after four years of chaos and incompetence. Yes, he believed he still had more to give. That is not a moral failing. That is a man who loved his country and did not want to walk away from the fight when his nation needed him. In the end, he didn't fail the country, we did, because we fully knew the stakes. History will be much kinder to 46 than the pundits ever were. That I know. I’ve got his back. How about you?

🚨 WOW! California Gubernatorial Candidate Steve Hilton (R) just CALLED OUT Democrat candidates to their FACES for blaming CA's high cost of living on TRUMP "Donald Trump is the president in ALL the other states of America, where the cost of living is WAY LOWER than in California." "It's not Donald Trump who's given us gas prices $2 higher than the REST of the country! It's Democrat policies, which ALL the Democrats here support. It's NOT Donald Trump that's given us the highest housing costs in the country. It's Democrat policies that all these Democrats support!" "Obviously, it is way past time for change in California and endlessly going on about Donald Trump doesn't serve the needs of the struggling families and small businesses."
