“A mad white man can be compared to a Ghanaian graduate from UCC. If we were truly wise, white people would come here to seek loans.” —A member of the newly formed The Base Party expressed disappointment over the current state of affairs in the country, lamenting that despite Ghana’s abundant natural resources, the nation continues to struggle economically. JUST IN 🚨: Richmond Akwasi Frimpong, head pastor of Anointed Grace Prayer Ministry, is in police custody for allegedly attempting to bury a five-month-old baby alive at Abofrem. He was arrested alongside an accomplice in Bibiani after a resident raised an alarm. So many fake pastors but the Bible did warn us anyway. I’m just surprised these lots do have followers o.

President John Dramani Mahama, Sedinam Tamakloe served under your administration. Today, she stands convicted for causing financial loss to the state. Now you are in the United States. So there is no distance. No delay. No excuse. She is still a Ghanaian. She worked under you. In every sense that matters, you were her boss. So lead. Bring her back to Ghana to serve her sentence. Because leadership is not about chasing opponents. It is about taking responsibility for your own. If those who served under you can be convicted and still remain abroad, then your fight against corruption collapses before it even begins. This is your test. Not speeches. Not promises. Action. Bring her home. @JDMahama

Few American citizens reported being defrauded by someone in Ghana to the tune of $10 million. That alone triggered action. The U.S. government didn’t hesitate. The FBI flew over 5,000 miles from New York to Accra, over 10 hours in the air, just to arrest one man and bring him back to face justice. Not because he stole from the government, but because he touched their citizens. That’s what a serious country does. It protects its people, anywhere in the world. Now look at Ghana. A former finance minister is accused of causing over 1.4 billion Ghana cedis in financial loss to the state. And this is not even a foreigner. This is someone who sat at the highest level of power, trusted with the country’s finances. Then he leaves Ghana and runs to the United States. Let me make this part very clear, because this is where it gets embarrassing. He is not even an American citizen. Not American. Not protected by U.S. citizenship. Yet he is sitting there, and Ghana still cannot bring him back. So ask the real question: why? Because this is no longer about law. This is about will. This is about strength. This is about whether a government actually respects itself enough to fight for its own country. America will cross oceans for its people. Ghana cannot even retrieve its own man who is accused of damaging the entire nation’s finances. That is not normal. That is failure. And stop thinking this will fix itself. It won’t. Systems don’t correct themselves when the people in charge benefit from the weakness. The current president has the numbers in parliament. Full control. No excuses. If the laws still protect the powerful and expose only the ordinary citizen, then that is a conscious decision, not a limitation. Justice is simple. If you take what is not yours, you answer for it. No titles. No escape routes. No hiding behind borders. So don’t just get angry and move on. That’s how nothing changes. The real question is this: are you going to keep watching this like it’s entertainment, or are you going to become the kind of citizen that makes leaders uncomfortable enough to finally act?

President Mahama, failure is not an accident. It is a decision. And right now, that decision sits entirely in your hands. You hold a parliamentary majority most leaders spend their entire careers chasing and never get. Even Donald Trump, with all his noise and power, has never had this level of control. So understand this clearly. There is no opposition to hide behind. No coalition to blame. No system to point fingers at. If Ghana remains stuck, it will not be the system that failed. It will be you who failed the system. Every promise that dies in silence becomes your signature. Every reform that never leaves paper becomes your weakness. Every citizen still struggling in conditions that should shame a government this powerful becomes your responsibility. History is not emotional. It does not care how difficult things were. It does not reward intentions. It records results. And right now, you have everything a leader needs to deliver those results. So this is not about pressure. This is about truth. You either use this power to reset the country, or you become another example of a man who was given everything and still produced nothing.
