@Simon_Hypixel as right now theres little i can get from looting ruins or dungeons that I can't get in 10 mins of mining, and i think adding the stuff you get from mining and crafting to the loot pool in chests kinda makes mining and crafting useless, or the other way around.

@Simon_Hypixel idk if you're actually going down the Terraria route, but i think adding trinkets with cool traits with long build trees would make exploring more worthwhile without making grinding/mining useless
