The first month I relocated to lagos 2021, I went out clubbing with these niqqas that stayed in my new estate and I thought we all were just young guys hustling to see front. We partied, had fun when the bill came, it was about N3.7M, we were 3 guys with a few babes. One of the guys who is still my guy till today stepped outside and I followed him, he made a phone call to his dad and told him we’ve been arrested by sars and they were requesting for N2M. 6 minutes later he got an alert of N2.5M and a text message followed which reads “mumu, Get your stupid ass home” We went back in, he dropped 2M, the other guy dropped 1M and with no instructions I knew the remaining 700k was mine to take care of. Opened my bank app and did mine. On our ride home, I was quietly quiet thinking about my life, got home and went straight to open my trading chart to start looking for good setups to recover my money, stayed awake till in the afternoon watching trades and the funny thing was that I still lost those trades. Two days later I got another WhatsApp massage “how far, we will be heading out to Kunle’s aunt’s place later tonight then from there we will stop over at Quilox for a few drinks”. When I heard Quilox, I remembered how the last one went and then and there I knew the importance of being a mini Nepo baby. I’m Posting this for you to know that there are levels to this shit. Coming from a home that is well to do gives you the opportunity to fuckup several times and still correct yourself. Me, I learnt that not every invitation will witness your presence, no matter how exciting and fun it sounds. No go present your nipples for them oh, I swear they go whine your nipple wetin no good. You go think say all of una na the same. Una no be the same oh. They pass you, they give you gap. No let anybody gaslight you. There are some people that their starting point is the finish line you’ve been praying for all your life. There are some people who your prayer point is a Godforbid something to, there some people who your prayer point is a suffer-head life to. Understand your environment. Understand and get familiar with the obstacles in your way and never let anybody whine with words of affirmation. If your papa no get, you go too plan your life back to back and you fit plan back to back and still no see front because you don’t have the resources of trying and failing multiple times.
