@Mngxitama2 Every year, @DOAgov_ZA advertises a mere 100 posts, despite knowing that tens of thousands of agric graduates remain unemployed. This number grows exponentially as new graduates enter the job market annually. Is it fair to dangle such limited opportunities?

@Mngxitama2 Professional bodies like @SACNASP_01 collect annual fees of R610, yet they fail to provide meaningful assistance in securing permanent employment for their registered professionals. This raises a critical question: how are unemployed professionals expected to afford these fees?

In my mind right now is the plight of the #UnemployedAgricGraduates almost 5000 of them! Sitting at home when there is MASSIVE NEED for their services. The so called GNU is punishing our people!

@Mngxitama2 The #AAPs program aimed to address two pressing issues: the shortage of Extension Officers and the high unemployment rate among agric graduates. The goal was to hire over 10,000 officers by 2024. However, the program was cancelled. Where did the allocated funds go?

The acceptable ratio of extension officer to farmer is 1:250. in SA the ratio is a crazy 1:1500! This simply means our farmers are without the much needed and necessary assistance from extension officers. Yet there are almost 5000 idle EOs. #employAAPsnow

@Mngxitama2 Instead of Reinstating us, they keep advising us to start our own farming businesses, but ironically many existing small-scale farmers are struggling to survive. They're failing due to inadequate support from the @DOAgov_ZA and a severe shortage of Extension Officers.
