Prince was such a massive fan of THE MUPPETS, he asked if he could host the Muppets Tonight show in 1997, leading to one of the rare instances we saw a more comedic version of himself instead of the quiet and reserved persona fans were used to 😂👏

Looks like many people (including R*) are trying to disturb my holidays Those SKUs are just placeholders bcz EAN codes (like UPC in US) aren’t belonging to Take2 traditional games prefixes So those prices are random ones (& Sorry, w/o my PC, can’t do much to get real prices)

Wait you guys think Masters of the Universe failed because of ironic "toxic masculinity lines"? Geezuz christ this app and what it does to peoples brains. I cant help you. Supergirl Comics sell 1/4th of Superman comics. Shes magnitudes less popular. This film was never going to make the numbers any of your false idols set for it. Even if she was heavily "Pro Masculinity" and spoke like the manoshpere. What matters is the film good or not.

Joe I know you’re a DC fanboy but this does turn people off. Toxic masculinity lines destroyed masters of the universe box office despite it having a pro masculinity message. Supergirl is doubling down on this and it’s going to be a bomb, with warners new ownership the dc universe is going to get canned again.

I still say the book version of Jurassic Park would make a great 10 episode HBO or AppleTV mini-series: Episode 1 Before the Island: Covers the mysterious Procompsognathus attacks in Costa Rica, Grant's excavation site, Nedry's corporate dealings, and the tense arrival of the legal and scientific teams. Episodes 2-5 Arrival on the Island: The tour begins, the power goes out, and the chaos begins (ending with the initial T. rex attack) Episodes 6-9 The Survival Horror: The characters navigate the jungle, the river raft sequence, and the raptors in the maintenance sheds. Episode 10 The Climax & Resolution: The bombing of the raptor nest, the arrival of the military, and Malcolm's death. Westworld was adapted into a movie in the 70s and HBO turned it into a series. But since Universal is still making Jurassic movies they'd probably never let this happen.

Disney acquired The Rocketeer in 1986 and spent four years removing anything recognizable from it to turn it into a kid's property to sell toys (Betty was immediately cut). They really just wanted the name and nothing else. Then Batman happened in 1989. Joe Johnston was a fan of the comic, found out that Disney had the rights to it, and offered to direct it (he had just finished Honey I Shrunk the Kids for them). He turned it back into an adaptation of the comic and the result is a classic.
Bite-Sized Nostalgia@landofthe80s

“The Rocketeer” starring Billy Campbell, Jennifer Connelly, and Timothy Dalton premiered in theaters today in 1991. BITE-SIZED FACT | Director Joe Johnston later carried the film's retro-pulp sensibilities into 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger. Fans of the franchise can even spot Cliff's iconic helmet in the Captain America universe.

Just prepare for this now: no matter what they do with Ocarina of Time on Switch 2, seemingly half the Zelda online fanbase is going to complain about it. Really it will likely be a very loud and vocal minority, but it’s going to seem like “everyone hates this game”. It happens with every Zelda release of the 3D variety. The fan base is vast and cannot be universally pleased. Also remember another person’s thoughts don’t have to influence your own. If you enjoy something and someone else doesn’t, you don’t have the apologize or feel bad about that. Same the other direction.

As part of Godzilla’s 70th anniversary celebration, 4K digital remaster is getting a theatrical release. I glanced at the title and immediately thought it was a 4K screening of “Destroy All Monsters” (1968), so I booked a ticket right away. It wasn’t until I got to the theater that I realized I’d made a mistake. It wasn’t“Destroy All Monsters,” but it was “All-Out Attack.” It turned out to be Shusuke Kaneko’s “Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack” (2001). Ok, I thought, and ended up revisiting “GMK” on the big screen for the first time in 25 years. Back when it originally came out, it was shown as a double feature with “Hamtaro: Adventures in Ham-Ham Land.” I remember taking my kids and some of their friends to see it. I’d forgotten the movie quite a bit of it over the years, so it was a lot of fun to rediscover. And I only learned during the end credits that Mizuho Yoshida was inside that white-eyed Godzilla.
