One thing I notice time and again with young #CS2 players:
Many can describe their goals. Fewer can describe how to get there.
“I’m motivated” is easy.
“I’m too aggressive after the first contact and am working on holding my position instead of chasing after the next duel” gives the team something concrete to test.
That doesn’t prove the player is good, but it makes the first impression much more meaningful.
Five things that mature athletes do:
1. Show up on time
2. Work hard in school
3. Take care of their bodies
4. Stay out of trouble
5. Treat others with respect
