I’m going back to the basics of #OptionsTrading from April 3rd. The same basics that worked consistently for me during the 9 months of the last FY. Then I experimented with all kinds of new setups, indicators, predictions and strategies. Nothing came close to that 9-month performance. Yes, my S/W predicted outcomes correctly on many days. But in reality, most of those trades felt like gambling. Probability models fail badly in front of HFT giants and unpredictable market behavior. But the moment I returned to the basics, everything started clicking again. I recovered the ₹42 lakh loss from April 2nd within the rest of the month and decided to stick with the same approach for the rest of the year. I genuinely think this is my holy grail. Sometimes we already hold the holy grail in our hands, but because it doesn’t “flash,” we keep searching outside. Stay with what works. I don't like the idea that people are looking over my shoulder, watching my trades as I take them. It will affect my own performance. Also I'm sure a lot of people will just blindly try to copy my trades which might lead to a lot of unintended consequences, mostly adverse. On a risk reward basis, I think there's very little to gain and way too much to lose if I went ahead and did this.

Today is my last day on Twitter. Trading has given me profits, but also taught me the harsh realities behind the screen — stress, discipline, losses, and psychological pressure that most people never see. I choose to remain anonymous and private now. Not everyone should be inspired to trade just by seeing the upside, because the downside is very real. Wishing everyone success in their own path.
