Here's to transgender day of remembrance! Its important we continue to fight for our trans family and challenge transphobia whenever we see it. I'm educating myself by reading Shon Faye's excellent book at the moment and it's clear we can't rest on our laurels

How did gender revels become such a thing at a time when the world isn’t supposed to be focusing on gender ?

Im really very sad to be missing the trans pride march in London today, I had prior plans to meet my 20 day old niece who is the most amazing cherub ever! My lack of presence does not however diminish how wholeheartedly I love and support the trans members of our queer community
