@tcoley1 My dad worked for a freight company for over 30 yrs so I know more about shipping and 18 wheelers than I should. I didnt know you couldnt take the governors off anymore though. I bet folks are mad lol.

Smaller companies allowing their 18-wheeler/semi’s to cut their governor off blows my mind. Going 95 mph with a trailer seems safe. [Not texting and driving before someone asks.]

@tcoley1 They can’t, but they do. It wasn’t a new fancy model. I was going 87 and he smoked me.

@Manda4UA They can’t do that. However, older trucks that are not fly by wire and have an old, old rebuilt engine, they can. And pretty much all of them have a Georgia Overdrive option.
