Minutes into “dress like your miracle HC”, I received a rejection mail from a company I was expecting an offer. I wanted to just sleep. But omo, I didn’t know when I wore my suit and danced like I got the offer😂 Interviewing for that big tech alone was such a miracle.

Sent my cv and cover letter to a friend and asked her to follow my format. She got two interviews in the space of one week. Gosh, I’m not saying I’m not happy for her but that’s the same CV and cover letter format I’ve been using for months, yet no response. 😔

The part where the Hallelujah Challenge media team started showing people from all over the world sharing their screens and dancing, dressed like their miracles, brought tears to my eyes. I pray we all get our testimonies fr🥹

This thing you people do whenever Christians are having a conference is really not cool. You do it during Redemption camp, Hallelujah Challenge, NSPPD and so on. Some things are not supposed to make sense to you. You go to concerts, clubs, and bars nobody criticize or bother you, you go because it makes sense to you - Freewill. People are going through different things and oftentimes, hope is what keeps them going. When there is hope, there is something to live for. There is a belief that no matter how bad things are today, everything will be okay. And prayer is comforting to most people. If you don’t like the practices, ignore and move on. Allow people to be delusional if that will make them happy and sane. Allow people to believe in their whichever way they choose to. Allow people to practice their religion without being shamed for it. Why are you so obsessed with Christians and their practices since you don’t believe in the religion? Why are you always at the forefront of criticism every year? This is not a good way to live life. Let people be.

But why are you scared? Is He not the God that brought you this far?

He lost his job. I took him in, fed him, fed his girlfriend too, and paid his rent for an entire year. He said he wanted to learn how to code, so for a whole year, he was always in my house. That was how he met my ex. She had been trying to get back with me. Nothing serious — we were just having fun. Insha Allah, maybe we’d figure it out. But he saw what I had and got jealous. He wanted a taste too. Instead of facing his lane, he started badmouthing me to her. I lived in a mini flat. He always slept on the couch. I kept my room to myself for private matters — midnight duties and all. But guess what? After I’ve done all the hard work with this babe and crashed off, she’d sneak out of my room in the middle of the night… and go get a second round from him on the couch. Then both of them would wake up in the morning, greeting me with smiles like nothing happened. I had no idea — not a clue — until they had a fight and she spilled everything. Said it like she was doing me a favour. She had gotten emotional, started catching feelings again, and wanted us back together. She began stalking, always complaining. I got tired and told her to stop calling me. Meanwhile, the guy was still coming to my house. I was even giving him updates on everything going on. I didn’t know they were still at it. They kept doing their thing behind me until they couldn’t anymore. Then I lost my job. Told him about it like a brother. And this guy? He called the same lady… just to mock me.

I have no drama in my life & it feels so good
