Having reviewed the background of Lucy Connolly's case, her denial of Release On Temporary License (ROTL) appears unjust. ROTL is not a grand privilege; it's a modest allowance for 2-3 nights at home per month.
Lucy has been unfairly treated, and it's time to acknowledge this. She can appeal to the Governor and, if necessary, to the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman. Justice must prevail. Transparency in this process is crucial to clarify the confusing details surrounding her case.
I understand there's a separate appeal regarding her sentence and conviction. The bigger issue is the perception of bias in the application of the law. Lucy's sentence, disproportionately severe compared to those for actual violence in the riots and other contexts, suggests she's being treated as 'low hanging fruit.'
This perception is dangerous, fuelling radicalisation and threatening community cohesion.

Asylum seekers who fled Iran for refuge in the UK are returning there for holidays. If they can visit their home countries for leisure, those places must be safe enough, and they shouldn’t be allowed back into the UK.
They’re treating the UK like a literal hotel.

Thank you @Katie_Lam_MP for finally being brave enough to say this out loud, in parliament.
It's clear it was hard for you to read, hard for us to hear, but so much harder for those little girls to endure.
These little girls, some as young as 7, as many as 300k of them, deserve answers and change.
WE the people, deserve to know, and demand to know the names of every single monster involved in the mass rape of the country's children. From social workers, to police Chiefs, to councillors, and every single person in between. They ALL need to be held to account.
We want to know why more money has gone in to protecting mosques, than these children. We want to know why more time and effort has gone in to silencing us the people, with accusations of "Islamaphobia" and "racism", going as far as creating laws to remove our ability to speak, than has ever gone in to making this end.
We the people will support any MP with the courage to fight this battle, and to those that wish to continue allowing the abuse of our girls; we refuse to tolerate the intolerable.
