🛑 Students are becoming Instagram slaves.
Average Indian spend 194 minutes on Social Media everyday and this number will be much higher for young students.
Students have a lot of free time, and with easy access to mobile phone and internet, they're just getting addicted to cheap dopamine.
Scrolling random content for more than 3 hours every day is just making them mentally weak.
It is so addictive that they unconsciously waste so many hours scrolling 10 second/reel at a time.
`We are just heading towards a sad generation of low-attention span youth.`
As a teacher,
it is just becoming tougher everyday to teach students with such low attention span.
They get bored easily and can hardly focus for few minutes.
When I tell students that they are addicted to social media, no one accepts it. They are immature and are just falling into this trap unconsciously.
Sources of cheap dopamine:
0. Junk Food
1. Too much Sugar
2. all forms of Tobacco
3. Video Games
4. Gambling and betting apps
5. Watching Pornography
and the most lethal one,
6. `Scrolling Reels/Shorts Mindlessly`

0. practice explaining your solution verbally 🗣
1. practice speaking while you code 🧑🏼💻
2. give mock interviews 🤝
and my personal trick:
0. Simulate an online coding interview(45 minutes)
1. Use Leetcode's shuffle feature, i.e. `🔀 Pick One`
2. Solve the problem exactly how you'll solve it in the interview ✅
3. try to `speak and explain` your code in English 🔥
and the most important part
4. Record your screen and yourself 🎥
this is very important 👆
Sometime later,
0. Watch your recording
1. Note down areas of improvement in your `technical skills`
2. Note down areas of improvement in your `communication skills`
3. Work upon it 🔥
Trust me,
if you repeat this trick for 10-15 days,
You'll notice an improvement in yourself 🤷♂️
