MFPD is currently seeking vehicle donations to be used for training. Donated vehicles must have the title and be a complete vehicle, but do not have to run. Contact Lt. Christensen at jchristensen@manhattanfire.org or call 815-478-3197 for more information!

Today during our Matter of Balance class, our participants were introduced to exercises they can do anywhere that will help improve balance, flexibility, and strength. A big kudos to our participants for getting up and sticking with us during this 4-week falls prevention program!

Yesterday Brother Scott Kurczewski was awarded the Medal of Valor by the @ManhattanFirePD for rescuing 3 kids that had fallen through the ice while off duty. Local 3234 is proud to call him our Brother. Congratulations Scott! #AlwaysOnDuty #AFFIatWork @AFFI1935

Last night we celebrated three newly appointed Lieutenants & swore in six of our firefighters. It was a proud & joyful evening full of family and friends celebrating the accomplishments of these fine individuals. A special congratulations to Lieutenants Eller, Murphy & McKenna!
