@HLTCO @joe_thomas18 Exactly this. Few years back Swansea refused to sell Sigurdsson to us until we met the asking price. Was he worth £45m?probably not. But to Swansea he was the difference between staying up and relegation, they sold and they went down. Branthwaite could be the same for Everton.

I see Jarrad Branthwaite is the latest player to be given the “he’s not worth that” treatment. He’s 22, under contract until 2027, has no release clause, is nowhere near his peak and crucially, Everton don’t want to sell. He’s worth what he’s worth to Everton. It’s very simple.
