August is an important month for me. I like to take two to three weeks off to rest, reflect and recharge the batteries. August 1st - Relationship August 1st will be my 19th wedding anniversary to the woman I started dating when we were 16 and 17. We've had ups, downs, darkness and so much light in our lives together, including our two beautiful boys. I need to be more patient with my wife, business partner and best friend in this world. I can't express in words how much she means to me on this journey. I also need to be more calm and patient with my boys. August 1st - Creator On August 1, 2021, I made a decision to take Twitter seriously and wrote every single day for the next 14+ months. Heading into 2022, we managed to increase to 10,000 followers and to 25,000 by April 2022 when we began to take off on this platform. From April 2022, we've averaged an additional 20,000+ new followers every month. This helped our podcast grow by 20% per month until we changed the focus of traffic to the newsletter, which has now grown to 12,500 weekly readers in 5 months. In the next year, I'm going to refine my focus much more intensely and look forward to sharing the details with y'all. August 14th - I turn 45 Wow. 45 years old. When I was young, I thought it was ancient. Now, though, I feel similar to when I was 20 years old. I'm going to plant my flag in the sand, this will be the best year of my life in all measurable ways - quantitatively and qualitatively. So many fun projects are underway behind the scenes, which I look forward to sharing with you all as the year goes on and they come to fruition.
