#Dhurandhar2‌TheRevenge A few takeaways -(with no spoilers) There has rarely been a film in Indian cinema that speaks with this kind of unvarnished clarity. Dhurandhar tears long-standing, unspoken boundaries ruthlessly - in what it shows and what it refuses to soften. The cinematography is deliciously assured, and the performances razor sharp. For once the Indian actor owns a character completely instead of recycling a signature personna. That depth, that discipline of nuance takes the film to another level altogether. What Dhurandhar 1 & 2 establish beyond doubt is this: the Indian audience has long been starved of an honest, unfiltered articulation of its own reality, especially on Pakistan. For decades, there has been a dissonance between lived experience and the carefully curated narratives that circulated within select “Aman ki Asha” echo chambers. This film doesn’t just challenge that, it destroys it. The accumulated frustration of ordinary Indians, long muted by the expectation of restraint, moral posturing, and passive endurance is finally finding articulation. Dhurandhar reminds us that there are men and women who risk life and limb to protect the nation - a pride long suppressed by a twisted piety that Nationalism is wrong, dangerous. Dhurandhar rejects that very notion and throws their flimsy ‘high moral ground’ in their face. As for the snowflake ‘critic’ class, their outrage is almost comical. For years they dutifully gushed over the same handful of ‘stars’ while propping up cinema calibrated for the moronic. The only ones surprised by their irrelevance, is themselves. And when the ‘Doyenne of the Has-Beens’ attempts a ‘serious’ meditation on why saying Bharat Mata ki Jai is disturbing, it becomes clear just how completely they have lost the plot. This isn’t critique but a strain of sychophrenia, completely detached from reality. It reveals a class so profoundly out of sync with the country, that it now speaks only to itself: an isulated circle that mistakes fluency in English for significance - but only too willing to serve as convenient amplifiers for dubious, self-serving narratives.

@SainikDal @_sayema And so what do you have to say about terrorists targeting our entire community? Do they pick and choose? It’s sad how you seem to have empathy but selective empathy unfortunately.

@_sayema The one who is guilty should be punished, but targeting the entire Muslim community because of it is a meaningless act. We stand with you.

How sick are those people who are busy inciting hate after such a terrible incident! Innocents from all communities have lost lives and relatives. We need love, compassion, kindness, care for some healing. Accountability of the system. The shameless, heartless hate-inciting people are the reason for such unrest around us. They know who they are. Sick souls!

@_sayema You are so selective with your thoughts that no one takes you what you say seriously apart from some brainwashed liberals. Stop posting for your own and other people’s sanity. Be kind to yourself and kind to us please.

@_sayema Victims that are always almost Hindus need a lot of compassion, kindness, care, and healing. You want to give compassion and love to terrorists, is it? How sick are you! Accountability of the system or accountability of religion that mostly preaches violence and extremism? Sick

@yashi_reads Also your team’s owner had a heatstroke in Ahmedabad not in kolkata. I live here so I know what I am talking about. Don’t comment on a city and its people if you haven’t had the exposure.

@MankadRicha Oh please come to Kolkata when there's a KKR match. It's not about the temperature, it's about a real sporting audience

Amit Shah speaks on sexual charges against Prajwal Revanna 1. This cannot be spared 2. BJP doesn't tolerate insult to women. We stand with women. 3. State is under Congress rule and despite knowing the issue didn't initiate action till date.

@sairambalasubra @bhogleharsha It was 40 degrees this afternoon in Ahmedabad. This heat can make you sick. I have been to every GT match for the last 2 years and it’s the same pattern. Evenings are jam packed and afternoons there are very few people.

@FarziCricketer So it was 40 degrees in Ahmedabad today and it was an afternoon match. I watch every GT evening match in the stadium and the crowd makes a lot of noise. Would you like to come over to watch it live once?

@mohitbang12 @bookmyshow We ended up calling them and were told to keep trying all day all the time 😆 Sport shouldn’t be causing so much stress and anxiety in people just wanting to have a fair go at buying tickets. Terrible state of affairs!

Re: tonight’s permit system debacle. A government statement has just been issued: “The teams from DHHS and Service Victoria worked as quickly as possible to get the permit system up and running, as they worked to draft directions and experienced some technical issues.” #springst
