@utdHarryy Today’s win says more about Rosenior than it does about Carrick. We cut off passing lanes to their pivots and they froze. Rookie stuff from Rosenior. We looked completely out of ideas in attack. Boring, basic, stale football. Not good enough, even with reinforcements

Got to see the #Invincible Season 4 finale today. It's definitely more of a character study than a big action heavy entry but I actually really enjoyed what they did in terms of pushing the relationships forward. Quite a strong personal finale.

@Ellis_ I agree, Ligue 1 rescheduled fixtures to give PSG rest in the lead up to the QF. Bundesliga and La Liga teams face the likes of Elche and St Pauli every other week. It’s a matter of prestige, but PL won’t make any meaningful changes because it’s all about the money for them.

The Champions League 100% favours teams that have the luxury of resting key players domestically.

The conclusion from the CL games: the quality of PL football is beyond dire. All the teams have so much money that the focus has been stockpiling talent. So, the league has naturally put a premium on fitness and set pieces when the margins are tiny. It’s woeful to watch.
