Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji,
Food adulteration in India has become a serious public health threat, contributing to chronic diseases and long-term toxicity.
Despite its mandate, FSSAI and state food safety departments have failed to enforce regulations effectively, with widespread concerns about corruption and weak accountability. Even the food standards set by FSSAI are so weak that the same companies and brands sell lower-quality products in India compared to Western countries.
The most alarming part which I know you will not appreciate is that when concerned citizens began exposing FSSAI’s wrongdoing on social media, instead of addressing the issues, the authority reportedly responded by filing FIRs against them to silence their voices.
I urge the dissolution of the current system and the creation of a transparent, strictly accountable food safety authority. Accountability must be fixed, if any citizen takes food sample and get it tested from private laboratory and food is found adulterated then concerned accountable officer must be immediately suspended
Yours sincerely,
Tarun

From Kumta, Karnataka, a boy Raghu, left home at 18 with just 21 rupees to pursue cricket against his unsupportive father's wishes.
He first stayed at a bus stand and a temple in Hubli before settling in an abandoned crematorium building for four and a half years, using a cricket mat as a blanket amid burning corpses.
There, his right hand fractured in an accident, shattering his playing dreams but not his passion for the game.
Undeterred, Raghu pivoted to coaching, throwing balls for local cricketers in Hubli and later moving to Bangalore's Karnataka Institute of Cricket for accommodation.
His skills as a sidearm bowler, firing 150 km/h throwdowns, caught attention, he became India's national team throwdown specialist, net bowler around 2011, assisting stars like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Sachin Tendulkar noticed Raghu's dedication during nets sessions and invited him to join Team India's support staff, crediting his high speed practice for match preparation.
Raghu's role contributed to India's successes, including T20 World Cups, turning his hardships into a behind the scenes triumph.
That boy was Raghavendra Dwivedi. (called Raghu for short)
For the Unsung heroes of India, who go unacknowledged in the victory of Team India.
Special thanks to the God of Cricket.@sachin_rt 🙏❤️

Pradyut Bordoloi, one of the most corrupt, manipulative power-brokers Assam has ever seen, has now joined @BJP4Assam.
BJP Assam Pradesh@BJP4Assam
Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Pradyut Bordoloi, one of the most corrupt, manipulative power-brokers Assam has ever seen, plundered the state mercilessly during his tenure. No wonder he now lives in his own Sheesh Mahal in Guwahati, built on the ruins of public trust and taxpayers’ money. And let’s be clear - he’s not the only one. There’s a whole gang of looters who treated Assam like their personal fiefdom.

Did Modi issue any statement regarding release of discriminatory UGC Regulations towards General Category..???
Mr Sinha@Mrsinha
Did Sunrisers issue any statement regarding including a Pakistani player?

I’m saying this quite objectively, especially for those in the BJP who are taking the anti-UGC protests lightly.
It’s not an anger issue; it’s a disillusionment issue. There is a vast difference.
Anger is a strong emotional reaction to something perceived as wrong. It is intense but usually temporary and easier to address. Once the concern is addressed through acknowledgment, explanation, apology, or corrective action, the emotion subsides.
Disillusionment is the loss of belief or faith after realizing that something is not as good, honest, or ideal as once thought. It is more about realization and disappointment, not necessarily emotional rage. It is harder to address because it stems from a loss of trust. People no longer feel the system or institution is what they believed it to be. Repairing this requires long-term credibility, consistent actions, and rebuilding trust, not just a single response.
But here, even acknowledging the problem openly seems too much to expect, let alone making an effort to address it.
