And courses - some, not all - seem to take owners for granted. Overcrowded owners facilities, poor food, no parking available etc. Owners provide the product, without them there is no racing. Look at the impact small fields are having on other industry participants. @RacingPost

I read this article this morning and thought that Nick Stockley had summed up how I have been feeling. Like him, an owner of 3 horses, which I recognise is a privilege. And nothing like the feeling of a winner. But when the prize money doesn’t even meet your monthly costs!
