Note to self: whilst out running, don’t look at watch when a few paces from a badly fitting drain cover! Plenty of claret!! Many thanks to the vet that stopped (I kid you not) to see if I was OK and also the jogger in blue top.

Dawn at Le Mans and a pit stop for car 5 #LeMans24

Unfortunately we have retired #6. We suffered an electrical issue and couldnt restart the car. Tough day. #LeMans24

No luck so far with firing up #6. Still trying though. #5 back out after another stop.

#6 is stopped between the two chicanes, the engine has stopped. We are sending a couple of mechanics out to talk to Oliver.

Nine hours gone and currently both cars in the garage...

@axhrs Yes sorry, normal WEC races are open paddock...

@ManorWEC Only realised when I got to the hospitality part of the paddock that it's closed for general access as of today. Appreciate the thought though folks, would have loved a closer look 😍. Certainly enjoying seeing the two rumbling round!

Pit space is very limited at LeMans, so when there’s a car in the garage next to us we have to overshoot and push back.

Seven hours into the race. Alex takes over #6

Twenty past nine here at Le Mans and light is beginning to fade. Oliver T brings #6 in for a fuel stop.

Just coming up to quarter distance (time) at six hours. P16 (#5) and P20 (#6)

Five hours gone, #5 and #6 are P19 and P21

Four hours in and #5 is now ahead of #6 after a long stop to go over systems. P16 and 23

Two hours 30 minutes in and #6 is P16, #5 21st

Stop/Go penalty for #6 - Leaving pits with spinning wheels

One hour in and #5 drops to P24 as it puts for fuel and an electric check. Rejoins safely.
