In year 4 we explored the beatitudes. We role played different scenarios and discussed how they were similar to the Ten Commandments. @ManorfieldPri

Year 4 have learnt about Good Friday and Easter Sunday. They used story maps and then hot seating! @ManorfieldPri

In Year 2, we have been learning about Easter. We compared the similarities and differences between Easter and Eid Al Fitr. @ManorfieldPri

In Year 1 we were learning about the Easter story. We looked at different artifacts that reminded Christians of Easter. We looked at these giant palm leaves and tried a hot cross bun. @ManorfieldPri

Y6 rounded off their RE topic by debating whether art or architecture is more important to Muslims and Christians. We used debating language and skills and our P4C skills in order to form opinions and agree and disagree @ManorfieldPri @P4CManorfield @SAPERE_P4C

Year 1 @ManorfieldPri have acted out the story of the lost sheep and then ordered the pictures and thought about why it shows Christians they belong.

Year 5 @ManorfieldPri Have explored the values and beliefs Christians follow, and made links with other religions and the humanist code.

In Year 2 @ManorfieldPri we have been studying Islam. We were looking at the mosque and why it is special to Muslims. The children bullet-pointed the steps Muslims have to take before entering a mosque.

This week @ManorfieldPri Year 6 have explored why mosques matter to the Muslim community.

This week @ManorfieldPri Year 3 have written poems demonstrating the ways Christians may see God.

The children @ManorfieldPri loved taking part in a Christmas assembly delivered by Crossteach.

Year 6 have been exploring what it means to be a muslim in Britain today. During P4C, the following questions were voted on for their enquiry - How is charity important to you? and What does prayer mean to people of faith or no faith? @P4CManorfield @ManorfieldPri

Year 5 have been learning about Christianity and exploring Jesus’s teachings.

Year 2 have been learning about Judaism. They looked at a variety of objects related to Judaism including a 'mezuzah'. They designed their own mezuzah and explained why it is important to jewish people. @ManorfieldPri
