The children who participated in South East Maths Olympiad took all prices (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions) in all categories in Annual National Mathematics Competition Abuja. We are all going to Rome this July to compete with 158 countries to bring our gold home.

We see bold statements like this and we don’t make a fuss but the moment obidients say “Peter Obi or nothing”, some people will remind us that we’re in a coalition. Well, it is Peter Obi or nothing. We need someone that is energetic enough to run a campaign that will excite and spur people to vote and defend their votes, as we can’t outspend Tinubu. We need a leader who will “hit the ground running”, from the first day he is sworn into office. We need a leader who has a proven track record of being able to manage resources efficiently, with no history of embezzlement. We need a leader who is widely known, accepted internationally and can stand shoulder to shoulder with world leaders and not stutter. We need a leader who is accessible by his people and humble enough to listen we speak as his people. We all know who that leader is. We should for once set aside our selfish interests and think about the collective interests of the people.

All the aspirants in ADC are good candidates, and they are all qualified and competent to lead Nigeria. However, among them, the only candidate who can challenge Tinubu and bring victory to Nigeria and the opposition is Atiku Abubakar.

"I'll only step in when the man is down financially." That's Bezelbub talking. That's Legion, that's Baal. Above all, that's the word of a Nigerian woman.

Nigeria Bleeds Arriving back from my visit to Kano this evening, I received disturbing news and images from Jos of a painful attack at the Angwa Rukuba area, Jos North, Plateau State. The recurring loss of innocent lives in Plateau State reminds us, yet again, of the insecurity innocent citizens face in our nation without any protection. These continuous devastating headlines are a reminder of a nation that is steadily normalising the loss of its own people. It is unacceptable that these attacks happen with such frequency, and even more unacceptable that there seems to be no decisive, sustained strategy to end them. No nation or leader normalises tragedy. The safety of Nigerian lives must become non-negotiable, we cannot continue to mourn what should have been prevented. Enough is enough. My heart goes out to the families who have lost loved ones. May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and their memories never be forgotten. I pray that we get a country where the loss of lives is no longer a recurring reality. We cannot continue like this. -PO

Indiscriminate sanctions and even threats of invasion - ECOWAS balkanised under him - Took a large delegation to Japan and couldn’t find someone to man Nigeria’s Booth. Ekpang Nkukwo is not fast food. It's grated cocoyam and water yam, wrapped leaf by leaf, simmered in a rich broth of periwinkle, crayfish, smoked fish, and palm oil. Your grandmother started it at dawn. You ate it at 2pm. And every single minute of the wait was worth it. This dish is not just a meal, it's a statement about patience, love, and craft. Some things can't be rushed including the best things in life. So when last did you eat ekpang?
