When I first entered Crypto in Jan 2022, NFT mania was at its peak, the consensus being that NFTs were here to stay and revolutionize art/finance/businesses etc 3 years later, nobody talks about them, NFT holders are now universally poor because of max extraction from grifters and greedy incompetent teams Now the question is, will the exact same outcome happen for memecoins? Im leaning heavily towards yes, in fact I think that we are at the equivalent of May 2022 for memecoins (Otherside moment) - Meaning we have around 6 months to 1 year left for the current meme mania Euthanasia rollercoaster is still the most likely outcome: New memes will pump, just like how certain new NFT launches did well even in late 2022 and early 2023 (e.g. Renga, Checks, Valhalla) - However most existing memes will bleed to zero very fast and the FDV ceiling for memes will keep decreasing until all interest has faded completely As always, Crypto will inevitably invent a new speculation vehicle and we will gamble there instead
