It’s shocking just how much the U.K. PENALISES you for being successful And it’s a disgrace how much MORE they take, the more you earn After tax & national insurance: here’s what you are left with £50k → £39,529 £100k → £68,557 (£100k to c.£125k you are effectively charged 60% tax) £150k → £91,286 £200k → £117,786 £300k → £170,786 You work hard, take risks & make sacrifices, only to discover that the more you work, & the more you earn, the MORE you are working for the government No wonder so many people are leaving for Dubai, where you are charged ZERO income tax& zero Inheritance tax Cutting spending & increasing taxes will NOT grow the economy, & will NOT help you earn more Did you realise how much tax you pay the more you earn? For example, if you earn £148k, you earn LESS, after tax, net, than if you earn £99k Income tax goes up to 45% for higher earners. Property taxes go up from 5% to 12% if you can afford more expensive homes The system is broken & people are either intentionally not earning more, or leaving the country entirely & no one running the government seems to care

Trump is on the brink of betraying Ukraine and the UK. Britain must lead in Europe by increasing defence spending immediately and all political parties should get round the table to make that happen. I fear what happens if we don't take this step.
