I see people saying “why should we give free lunches to schoolchildren?” and I think some folks truly have no idea what it’s like to grow up in poverty, never knowing where your next meal is coming from, forever being one paycheck away from eviction. Let me explain some things.

It was just another day in Singapore. I was out for a casual lunchtime walk when a romp of otters galloped by. I politely bid them a good afternoon and we got on with our day.

@jeeyonshim Last night, my cat cuddled on top of the comforter. I was drifting off to sleep when she had the most enormous puke. I used the comforter to wipe it all up, dumped it in the corner to deal with in the morning, & grabbed a new blanket. She immediately cuddled up to me again.
