It was an honour to talk humanity and tech with @kelseyhightower and @punasusi in the @Eficode DevOps Sauna.
Focusing in tech is one thing, being able to share it widely is another. Doing it humbly and brilliantly is what Kelsey thrives on. I recommend you have a listen <3
Software folks, there is a lot of value for you in this survey, as well as the output will drive the talk at The DEVOPS Conference November 1 in Copenhagen. #TheDEVOPSConference
Suurista suurin, syvästi kunnioitettu Vesa-Matti Loiri on poissa. Kosketit meitä, suomalaista sielua niin syvältä. Hyvää matkaa tuntemattomahan tupaan rakas ystävä.
@thedrlambda@dangrondahl What comes to mind is getting the difficult things such that they can be executed more freely. Sometimes it is into automation, sometimes it is into muscle memory. But if it is important and annoying then master it somehow.
@dangrondahl The whole point of "do it more often" is to prevent batch sizes from growing out of control, thereby reducing risk. I don't think this is useless advice, nor do I think only fools fall into this trap.
