Shawn Michaels responds to Bret Hart's claim that Shawn slept with Vince McMahon:
“I hear whatever…doing things with Vince. I go, ‘Ah, what are you gonna do.’ Never happened. It’s the wrestling business. I’m never sure what’s out there to get a rise out of people. It’s the wrestling business, and I don’t put a lot of stock in that. All I know is we had a nice conversation in the room (at Hall of Fame). I helped him put his suspenders on. There might be things he doesn’t like. I understand that. There are lots of things people don’t like. Everybody has a right to their opinion on everything these days. I don’t begrudge anyone on that. I do what I can to focus on me and my life. We have a good time in NXT and I’m doing everything that I can to give back to the business that has been so good to me. It sounds silly, I guess, because good news is not clickworthy. I live a positive, joyful life. It’s boring as hell to some people, but I’d rather do that than the other. I also say that I don’t want to be a bitter old timer, I feel like we get enough of those. Not to imply that anyone is."

WWE has not started the construction for the WrestleMania 42 stage yet.
Last time they started the construction 2 weeks prior to WrestleMania 41.
Only 9 days are left for the event and we still don’t have any information about the stage.
I really hope they aren’t downsizing the stage this year.

@WrestlePurists It’s actually crazy we are 7 years into this ride and resurgence with AEW.
Honestly the guy might go down as the Greatest wrestling owner of all time.

Tony Khan was asked if he has a group of people around him contributing to creative decisions in AEW.
Tony said he has a number of people working with him in different aspects. For him, he tries to put together an outline of what he wants every week segment-by-segment, and he thinks it’s good when he’s more involved in it.
“I definitely see a correlation after seven years where the fans can tell and want me to be very engaged. Also, a lot of it is making sure it’s quality control. In any sport, there might be a play that somebody would bring to the office that might not work for a certain reason… there might not be a total agreement about. And I think having a process where I am able to be involved over the years, I like to call it ‘in the weeds’ as the fans have come to describe it. The more I do that, the better the shows seem to be received. So I try to stay involved.”

@WrestleTalk_TV Everybody Knew who Big Show was.
Very humble downplaying of his career.

Paul Wight (Big Show) comments on his many heel and face turns in WWE:
"Arn Anderson told me, ‘The dumbest thing you ever did is learn how to work.’ So any minute, I was able to be a good opponent for what we were doing. I knew that me, personally, I don’t think I should ever have been champion.
"You don’t need a giant to be a champion. You need a giant to be an obstacle for the upcoming champion. You need somebody, something, a wall, a mountain, something that has to be overcome so that the next talent can be on its way. There’s a damn good living to be made in that position.
"I was okay with that. I enjoyed that, because I look back at my career now, I got to help create some big, big stars.
"I was working early with Roman (Reigns) and working early with Cody (Rhodes). There are a lot of talents that I had a great (time with), Kofi (Kingston), (Xavier) Woods and Cesaro. Big moment, Cesaro at WrestleMania, those are all good moments for me.
"I always understood that I’m not, and this is no way am I putting myself down. I’m not a leading man, I’m not Rock, I’m not Stone Cold. I’m not John Cena.
"I’m not the leading guy, I’m the funny sidekick, or I’m Thanos, the villain. That’s where I fall in, and that’s okay."

#tbt to when I had the what I thought would be the best seats ever to Wrestlemania and ended up with the worst seats ever to #wrestlemania
Directly on the entrance ramp is normally awesome, unless its 30 feet high and blocks almost the entire ring
@wwe still never made it right

Yes. Wrestling isnt real, and 90% of it is someone else creating an illusion. DM's are open if you want me to tell you what a stunt granny is.

Bro in slow motion you can see even better how both Roman and Jamie Noble (who holds Roman's left leg to keep him from falling) help Punk .. #romanreigns

Bret Hart explains why he refused to take the Razor's Edge.
“His finish where he would do that — what we call the Razor’s Edge, and he would pick you up and drop you on your head. I remember I go, ‘Nobody is doing that to me, ever. I don’t care,’ and I would stand by that today. He goes, ‘Oh, don’t worry. I’ll set you down.’ I’m like, ‘Not on my f*cking head you’re not. No way. There’s no f*cking way. You’re 6’6 or something. You’re gonna fall backwards with me. The first thing that hits the ground is my head, and my upper back.’ I said, ‘This doesn’t make any sense. It’s too dangerous, too stupid of a move for me to do,’ and I refused to do it, and period.”

A year later Austin was so wound up and unfocused he forgot to bring his vest to WrestleMania XV and only noticed before he went out. Even though 1998 was the biggest year in his life, he was in pain every day and was going through a divorce. The grind wasnt just a meme back then

28 years ago today, Stone Cold Steve Austin won his first WWE Championship at WrestleMania 14 against Shawn Michaels. “The Austin Era has begun.”
