@MarionKoopmans @FondOfBeetles The issue here is that serology testing doesn’t work on Andes until symptomatic. Only molecular testing does. You will test negative until the day before symptoms begin as you won’t produce antibodies until your body recognizes the pathogen.

Excellent thread here. Two additions: flight attended tested negative. There is some evidence for pre symptomatic shedding, not fully clear. Not a lot it seems. ECDC recommends only symptomatic testing @FondOfBeetles

“Respecting it till we know more” forced loved ones of mine to die completely alone inside a hospital room for no fuçking reason. It also created mass psychosis that you still see today (people wearing masks while alone in their car or on a walk), serious mental damage to other loved ones of mine.
