Active Staking Rewards went live 6 days ago for the first time, and over 166K wallets have since claimed.
But, as always, the community had excellent feedback — and identified 2 key changes for next round later this year:
Too Much Dust
Roughly 148k wallets had less than 10 JUP staked, hoping to earn LFG airdrops. Because of this, some rewards will go unclaimed because it is too small to claim.
Going forward, voters will require a minimum of 10 JUP (when voting) staked to be eligible for ASR. This will ensure that more tokens goes towards dedicated catdets, and not sybiling the governance program.
Unclaimed ASR Need a Home
There is a 30 day claim window for ASR, but not everyone will claim. After discussion, we’ve decided to send any unclaimed ASR funds back to the DAO treasury. The DAO can decide what to do with it in the future.
The spirit of ASR is to give more voting power to those who have demonstrated commitment to the DAO.
