BlackBerry ($BB) QNX story getting more interesting after CIBC Tech Conference. Main takeaways: • QNX increasingly becoming the entire thesis. Management explicitly said QNX is now the #1 priority. • Repositioning from “automotive RTOS” → “foundation of Physical AI”. Robotics, industrial automation, cooperative robots all highlighted. • NVIDIA IGX robotics stack uses QNX. Management sees autonomous cars as “robots on wheels”. • Key moat = determinism. QNX argues 1ms response vs ~15ms alternatives can be difference between normal ops vs disaster on factory floors. • Alloy Kore potentially biggest upside. Current QNX ASP = single digit $. Alloy Kore platform layer could lift ASP by 2.5–5x (CFO hinted even 4–6x discussions). • Backlog now approaching US$1bn. Added ~2x more backlog than recognized revenue last year. • QNX 8 fixed historical weakness: Old = poor scaling multicore New = Linux-level scaling (16/32/64 cores) while maintaining safety + RTOS determinism. • Competition no longer VxWorks / Green Hills. Main competitor = Linux. $BB may increasingly become a “QNX for robotics / physical AI” story rather than a legacy turnaround story.

Tons of projects use their community to gain traction, then totally sideline them at TGE. Then they crime pump their token 10x after TGE, making money on perps and by dumping team allocations on CEXs. Terrible trend, but I fear we're gonna see more of this as teams realize that what they're building is inherently worthless, and their token will go to zero before they can cash out if they follow the traditional path
