Voice tech for the last mile. 🌍🎧 @BMZ_Bund @_digitalglobal just featured how we use inclusive AI to bring audio knowledge in local languages to women in India - via QR posters, WhatsApp and community loudspeakers. Grateful for the partnership.

What if your poster could speak? Most media upcountry is still radio because in the villages, audio is literacy. Not everyone can read, and Uganda’s 60+ languages make written messaging almost impossible to standardize. So we rely on voices. On sound. On radio. But what if… just what if we could bring that same audio magic to a poster? That’s what @MarcelHeyne at WOM.fm is doing: turning ordinary posters into “Audio Flyers” people can scan, listen to, and share on WhatsApp, perfect for low-literacy, low-data settings. It’s OOH meets AOOH, and it could change how health, NGO, and brand communication happens in rural Africa. Imagine every poster, billboard, or wall mural talking back? Bar menus, restaurants, political campaign posters, the applications are limitless Now that’s the kind of creative leap the OOH industry should be paying attention to.
