Relaying a story that came over my DMs from a mutual…Indians are a cursed species: “Something happened today that I think you would find hilarious. My father is selling his house, which has a beautiful vegetable garden and a lush fig tree, which was planted from a clipping he brought from Sicily when he moved to the U.S. A very nice, professional, Indian couple with a son came to look at the house (he said the husband looked like Vivek). He tried to stay out of the way as they looked around the house. He noticed that after they went to see the garden, they hadn’t come back in like 20 minutes, so he went back there to see what they were doing or if they left… only to find them essentially ransacking the garden. The wife was literally shoving tomatoes, cucumbers, and zucchini into her tote bag while the husband and son gorged on figs. My father said he was so stunned. He said that if they asked he would’ve happily let them take what they wanted, but they were basically pillaging his crops as if they already owned the place. He said he hopes they put a good bid on the house after that; I said that’s unlikely cause they always try to low-ball. Anyway, hope you and Mrs. dago find this as amusing as I did!”

@clownworld Working onboard original CCL ships mid 80's late passengers would sometimes be ferried out on the pilot boat back to the ship. Port agent for cruise line could arrange flight to next stop as well. Huge headache without passport 💀
