The way Boots Riley has pushed Boosters on social media has only turned him into more of a household name than before! People aren’t just discovering his movie they’re also discovering HIM! The same way ppl discovered Spike when he was on the front lines pushing his early movies.

Is God Is is a stronger directorial debut than Obsession. Obsession is just more palatable for white ppl and the director has a larger built in fan base. Both movies are worth seeing tho!
