Sindu Michael, 24, on her first postpartum day after a normal delivery . She welcomed a 3.1Kg male baby. Currently, living at Mekelle Health Center,having been displaced from Humera town, Western Tigray, 4 and 1/2 years ago. Thanks to Maternal Health Africa, received free care.

Birtukan Haile ,25, first postpartum day normal delivery at the March 8 MCH Center. Birtukan was diagnosed with hypertension in pregnancy thanks to the high quality care she nor the baby developed complications. 2.7 Kg female baby. Bothe well.

Selamawit Gidey,30, normal delivery at the March 8 MCH Center. She is from Kebele 18, Mekelle. She welcomed a 4.0kg male baby. Thanks to Maternal Health Africa, she received free care. Both mother and her new-born are in good condition and ready to go ‘home’.

ምስ ቢሮ ጥዕና ብምትሕብባር ንዕሸላትን ህፃናትን ዝወሃብ ስሩዕ ግልጋሎት ኽታበት ምሃብ ምጅማርና እንተነበስር ልዑል ፍናን ይስመዐና። We are pleased to announce that vaccinations for neonates and adults have officially begun in collaboration with the TRHB.

March 8 MCH Center accredited to be a CPD provider. In extension to its clinical services, our center will deliver a full fledged professional training particularly focusing on Sexual and Reproductive Health(SRH). We encourage interested individuals and organizations to partner.

Happy to share that March 8 MCH Center having fulfilled all the requirements is now registered as a CPD Provider. We kindly call individuals, organizations & acad. institutions to collab with us in areas of research, SRH & maternity practice and policy.
