It was a little bonus track over in the US 🇺🇸✨ I’ve always loved this one as it showed how different remixes can be, going in and re-vocalling them yet still capturing the same essence as the original. Full crew on production fully understood the memo with this Pt.2 💫🔥 Celebrating 25 years of this album, wouldn’t feel right without finally bringing this track into the fold for you all to enjoy 🙏🏽 'Born to Do It' 25th Anniversary vinyl is out 12th December 🎧

‘You Know What’ 💫🎶 I had ‘You Know What’ topline melody ready at home for a while, so when I got into the studio with Mark Hill, it all came together pretty quickly as soon as he pulled out the guitar & played that classic riff 🎸😮‍💨 When I was writing songs for ‘Born to Do It’, I’d play them at home while my mum sat in the living room opposite my bedroom. That meant I had to be thoughtful with my lyrics, especially when writing about women & relationships which definitely shaped my style of storytelling 🙏🏽 This track is really special because it not only has one of my favourite guitar melodies and the bus stop riff…always gasses me😮‍💨☺️, but it reminds me of those moments with my mum, the back-and-forth as I played her my songs and getting her honest opinions. She had a huge influence on how this track came together 💯 In many ways, it captures my experience as a kid with a dream, growing up on a council estate, guided and shaped by my mum’s presence ❤️ 'Born to Do It' 25th Anniversary vinyl is out tomorrow 🎧
