All Hytale usernames are now LOCKED! As long as you paid for the game and the username doesn't violate basic rules, such as profanity or use to actively extort/impersonate/sell. And to be clear about impersonation, as in, literally going around pretending to be another person for the purpose of entertainment or fraud. If a random celebrity happens to have the same username, you are fine. There are too many YouTubers globally to keep track of. If a YouTuber or streamer wants a specific username that is already taken, they cannot claim it. We may email the original user to request it; if they don't respond or decline, they keep their username.

Ill be honest, I can’t be doing everything from game to business to support. However, I did review some usernames and all generic ones were denied, unless OG accepts. 1. Most of these were usernames were reserved by us in the first place. 2. When generic, OG gets asks and often accepts, as many just reserved but did not lock their purchase and don’t care or kept it for the YTber. I knew this would make people panic with generic names and all were denied at first, only a very few handful of people were given their names like this. Like less than 5 out of millions lol. Its a non-issue turned into a storm. As predicted. Will take the L and move on.

anyone elses hytale server take FOREVER to launch? Launched one, took 40 minutes... FYI on the same machine it takes 10 seconds to launch a minecraft server. No idea if this is usual or not
